Logan Trotter is a Boston-based soprano where she is an active performer of art song, chamber music, and choral music. Most recently, she performed in the chorus of Handel’s Messiah with the Handel + Haydn Society Chorus and the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center. She is currently performing in the choruses of Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, and the Marsh Chapel Choir. Logan is the soprano Choral Fellow at Marsh Chapel. This past year, she was the soprano soloist for BWV 147 with the Marsh Chapel Choir and Collegium. During her time in North Carolina, she appeared as a soloist in Bach’s Cantata 80, Vivaldi’s Magnificat, Rutter’s Requiem, and Vivaldi’s Gloria with the Magnolia Baroque Ensemble.
Logan has traveled to both Salzburg, Austria and Urbania, Italy to attend the Frost School of Music Salzburg summer program and Si parla, si canta. As well as several programs in the U.S. such as the Opera Theater of the Rockies Vocal Arts Festival and the Washington National Opera Institute for Young Singers. Logan received her Masters of Music from the New England Conservatory where she studied with Karen Holvik.
